A former Sheridan probation officer, who was fired for having a romantic reletionship with one of his parolees, says he did nothing wrong. The Sheridan Press reports Chris Yager pleaded not guilty to felony second-degree sexual assault last Thursday (10/31). He’s accused of having a five-month long romantic relationship with a woman he supervised. State law forbids sexual relationships between parole officers and parolees for a time after the supervisory period ends.
